Spicy walnut snowball cookies Yields 20 cookies 1 stick of butter softened 1/2 cup confectioner sugar 1 cup flour 1/2 cup grounded walnuts 1 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp ground cloves 1 cup confectioner sugar for rolling the cookies. Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. In a bowl combine butter with sugar until creamy. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms. Scoop approximately 20 balls using a small cookie scoop. Bake for 15 minutes until the bottom of the cookie is golden. Let them cool and while still warm roll them in powdered sugar.
