A man was shot Monday night, and is in non-critical condition Tuesday morning, after Memphis police say he confronted a group of men attempting to break into a car. The shooting at a Midtown church parking lot came days after police say the owner of a tattoo parlor was shot in the Cooper Young area when he also went to confront a man breaking into his car.
