Yesterday, we unveiled a new statue honoring Wolfpack and ACC legend David “Skywalker”Thompson.
By the time he left NC State, he was a three-time All-American, won two ACC Championships and claimed the university’s first team national championship.
The statue sits outside Reynolds Coliseum, where Thompson played all of his home games. After the unveiling, Thompson — along with his teammates Tom Burleson, Phil Spence, Mark Moeller and others — returned to the court inside Reynolds Coliseum to watch the annual
@packmensbball Heritage Game.
