Our #CriticalThinkers are interning this summer at some great organizations in #KC and beyond, including Burns & McDonnell, U.S. House of Representatives, Kauffman Foundation, @northwesternmutual, KPMG, @mocsakc and many more. Civil engineering major Mark Chiselita is a hydrology and hydraulics engineering intern for the @kc_usace (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers). His role includes creating flood models to forecast how rivers will behave during heavy rain events and the effects on the surrounding environment. Mark also had the chance to work in the field and help conduct a study on the endangered Pallid Sturgeon on the Missouri River. #NationalInternDay #JewellDoesCivilEngineering
