Celebrating the start of the academic year at William Jewell College, today's Opening Convocation ceremony welcomed honored guests including Mayor of #LibertyMO Lyndell Brenton, Mayor of #KansasCity Quinton Lucas and speaker Dr. Carmaletta Williams, CEO of Black Archives of Mid-America in Kansas City. We recognized two leading community members as our 2021 William F. Yates Medallion for Distinguished Service recipients, Raghu Adiga, M.D., and Carolyn Watley.
