Incoming #ArtistDiplomaInVoice student and mezzo-soprano Maria De Conzo from New Jersey is known for her versatility with dramatic and comedic roles as a crossover artist in opera and musical theatre. She received her Bachelor of Music from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music and Master’s of Music from Mannes School of Music in New York City. This summer, Maria will be returning to the @seaglefestival to perform the role of Madame de la Haltiére in "Cendrillon," and cover the roles of Bellomy in "The Fantasticks" and Theodorine in "The Island of Tulipatan." Last year, Maria was contracted to cover Hansel in "Hansel and Gretel" (@citylyricopera) and the Mother in "Amahl and the Night Visitors" (@onsiteopera). She has performed Meg in "Little Women" (@hawaiipaf), Marcellina (cover) in Le Nozze di Figaro (@mannesopera), Hänsel in "Hänsel und Gretel" (@manhattanoperastudio) and many more.
