Dimple Dhabalia, '97, is one of four distinguished alumni receiving a Citation for Achievement during our 77th Annual Achievement Day celebration. 🏆 The Oxbridge Honors alumna has worked for 20 years at the crossroads of the government and humanitarian sectors with a focus on asylum- and refugee-related policies and operations. She began her role as a senior advisor to the Refugee Asylum and International Operations Directorate (RAIO) in 2016. After years of working with vulnerable populations, she identified the need for an in-house well-being program, which she launched in 2017, destigmatizing mental health related occupational stressors and creating a culture of equity, inclusion and belonging. She also founded Roots in the Clouds, where the mission is to put the “human” back into humanitarian work, seeking to improve the lives of others and alleviate suffering in the world by supporting leaders and organizations across high human impact sectors. #JewellAchieves Visit jewell.edu/a...
