Turner Staton, baritone, is another one of the first
#ArtistDiplomaInVoice students. A native of Liberty, Turner is a recent graduate of
#CincinnatiConservatoryOfMusic with a master’s degree in vocal performance. While under the tutelage of Professor Kenneth Shaw, he enjoyed roles such as Mercurio in “La Calisto,” Mícha in “The Bartered Bride” and Sprecher in “Die Zauberflöte.” He completed a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at
#PepperdineUniversity where he performed roles such as Don Giovanni in “Don Giovanni,” Emile de Becque in “South Pacific,” and Pirate King in “Pirates of Penznace” under Dr. Henry Price. Previous summer festivals include Tanglewood Music Festival, Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, Prague Choral Festival and the Bach Choral Festival. Welcome, Turner! ❤️🎶
