Image 3: Mark Gunter Photo Awards. Fighting Cancer… . “Shadow and Light” - Being a visual artist, I cannot imagine life without sight. I had the privilege of shooting two Para-cycling National Championships this year. It was important to me to include an images featuring one of these incredible athletes. The time and dedication by both athletes to compete on a 250 meter track with 45 degree banking blows my mind. So going back to my film days, black and white was my choice to tell this story.
