I’ve never lived in a place where when I get on the plane to leave I feel sad to go.
Let me explain.
I left LA to spend the week in Munich, Germany to see a doctor (my second time here) and I got the chance to do some reflecting on the plane.
I grew up in St. Louis, MO- a great place to grow up, no doubt. But I was always hungry to see more of the world. I traveled for modeling gigs all throughout high school and loved the adventure of seeing new places.
I went to college at Florida State. If I could go back and make the decision again, I wouldn’t do a single thing differently. I loved my time in Tallahassee, but it was all about the team and my community there. When it was time to leave I didn’t feel sad to go, but I was grateful for my time there.
