Happy Birthday to artist Carlos Villa (1936-2013), #bornonthisday! In Spring 2022, we proudly hosted the exhibition "Carlos Villa: Worlds in Collision," organized by the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco and the San Francisco Art Institute. This groundbreaking retrospective celebrated the work and contributions of the first Filipino American artist, showcasing Villa's mastery through mixed media paintings, photographs, capes, body castings, and masks.
