Beitveit Holding, a key player in the Norwegian salmon sector, has successfully transformed its fish delousing operations with the adoption of nanobubble technology. "The diffuser hoses delivered a fountain of bubbles into the sea, but the oxygen bubbles rose quickly, broke the surface and were lost to the atmosphere," notes Kenneth Beitveit, co-owner of Beitveit Holding. To address this challenge, they partnered with Moleaer and integrated nanobubble generators into their delousing vessels. The impact was immediate: "It worked like a charm. We got a completely different effect…we could see that the oxygen stayed in the water," Kenneth Beitveit stated. Beyond the positive impact on fish welfare, Beitveit Holding has experienced a remarkable 75% reduction in oxygen usage. This successful integration of nanobubble technology underscores Moleaer’s commitment to sustainable and efficient aquaculture practices.
