According to the 2020 census, only 18 percent of Hispanic adults in Texas have graduated from college with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher, but we want to change that statistic here at @UTAustinTX. Because a college degree is an indicator of social mobility, we want to enable our students — many of whom are the first in their family to go to college — to take this enormous step.
