Maddy Snow brought charcuterie boxes to her childhood cancer treatments.
"It was just something easy for her to eat and she knew, you know, what she would be able to handle for the day," Snow's mom Libby Rankin told the Register.
After Maddy died from a six-year battle with cancer in November 2020, Rankin launched platterswithpurpose, an Indianola-based charcuterie company and a nonprofit, The Mighty Maddy Foundation.
In recent weeks, Indianola businesses and individuals have stepped up again, like they did during Maddy's battle, to support the foundation.
