The 2022 season was the best in Aberdeen IronBirds history. The IronBirds cruised to a First-Half North Division title, and won a franchise-record 81 games between the regular season and postseason. The Birds’ first ever postseason win came on September 15th against Brooklyn, followed by their first ever postseason series victory the following night on September 16th. Appearing in a championship series for the first time, the Birds forced a winner-take-all Game 3 against Bowling Green in the SAL Finals and fell one win short of a title. Here is a highlight reel featuring my play-by-play calls from the IronBirds’ best moments throughout their four home postseason games. Video clips are courtesy of MiLB TV
