brickstreetfarms: St. Pete’s dreamy urban farm ✨🥬 Brick Street Farms grows 68 acres of greens, microgreens, and strawberries inside these 20 shipping containers. Owners Shannon and Brad, both engineers, met at Duke Energy and started Brick Street Farms in 2016. They wanted to bring production into the heart of the city and closer to the community eating the greens. Inside their farms, they’re able to create a perfect environment, a plant spa if you will. They are proud to produce certified non-GMO, chemical-free, and wash-free plants with 90% less water and 30% less energy use. You can find their delicious greens at 100+ restaurants including local faves like eatnakedfarmer, pacific_counter, thelibrarystpete, and eatatbaba. Starting December 22, their brick-and-mortar store will transition to a fully online shop with pick-up, same-day, and next-day delivery in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. 🔗 Learn more at brickstreetfarms.com Video by ysann3 for #ilovetheburg 🎨 mural by the...
