For many people of Mexican heritage, that word is ‘posadas.’ Posada translates to “inn”—and it’s the foundation for Las Posadas holiday celebration. Las Posadas takes place over nine nights, starting on December 16, and includes reenacting the journey taken by Mary and Joseph as they searched for a place to deliver the baby Jesus.
