Two years ago, StartsWithUs embarked on a journey to overcome toxic polarization and help Americans work across lines of difference to solve our toughest problems. We have since brought together 250 incredible movement partners and fostered a community of over 3 million citizens- diverse in thoughts but united by our commitment to approaching challenges and disagreement with curiosity, compassion, and courage. This year, we were proud to unveil our banner program, Citizen Solutions, which is bringing citizens together across political and ideological divides to propose concrete solutions to the biggest issues - from gun rights & safety to abortion access & limits- driving a wedge between Americans. Our mission, more vital than ever, is to unite, build, and continue recognize the shared humanity of all people.
