#BestOfSCORES 2023 # 13: In June, poet-athletes met and practiced with local high school soccer players and washingtonspirit players at our “Goals For Girls" soccer clinic. The clinics were organized by local DMV teens to inspire girls to pursue their passions, on and off the field! “Goals for Girls was everything I wish I could have had growing up,” says Jane Wong, DC SCORES Communications Intern. “Getting the opportunity to meet other women who have turned your passion into a living is empowering.
