We’re thrilled to announce a new #OpticaAmbassador: An Pan! An Pan is an associate professor and a principal investigator at the Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics (XIOPM), Chinese Academy of Sciences. During his first year as an Optica Ambassador, he hopes to share his multidisciplinary and multicultural experiences and engage with Optica Student Chapters all across China. He enjoys traveling to different places to enjoy the local food, sights, and customs. He is excited about having experiences with the Ambassador program that are outside his regular scope of work and the ability to impact the community.
