Meet Abi Crawforth ⚙️ Abi, a CNC machinist at Oracle redbullracing, is responsible for setting and operating 5-axis CNC mills to manufacture a variety of metallic components used in the car. She predominantly works with titanium and aluminium, as well as some other exotic materials. Her day-to-day responsibilities include preparing materials, setting work holdings and datums, building tools and ensuring the quality of the machined parts by verifying that dimensions align with the engineering drawings 📈🔧🚀 After a year's work experience diving into various engineering disciplines, Abi found her heart racing for the fast-paced, precise world of f1.
