Our nation is facing an alarming rise in mass shootings, reaching unprecedented levels. Mass shootings in the United States with four or more deaths hit the highest level since at least 2006! There have been 630 mass overall shootings in the U.S. so far in 2023, according to the Gun Violence Archive. Despite the evidence and the calls for action, Republicans continue to refuse to take any meaningful steps towards banning assault weapons. The time for change is NOW.
