Evelyn’s favorite subject is Chemistry and she has ambitions to work in medicine, but due to financial hardships and personal challenges in her life, she was not able to attend school consistently, diminishing her hopes and dreams of one day becoming a doctor. As a teenage single mother, Evelyn already had a lot on her plate, but she also faced immense challenges accessing clean water for herself and her family, walking and waiting for hours each day to collect unclean water from a distant water hole with her mother every morning and evening, further deteriorating her focus on school and her infant daughter, Brandina.
