#BestOfSCORES 2023 #9: In November, we smashed DC SCORES fundraising records with dcunited and the washingtonspirit at One Night One Goal audifield! The SCORES community enjoyed live poetry and music performances in the busboysandpoets poetry lounge, mingled with soccer stars, and bid on exclusive auction items to raise over $500,000! “This was my first ever One Night One Goal, and it was so incredible to see this community come together to support our poet-athletes,” says Megan Testen, Senior Development Manager of Grants. “Seeing everyone dressed up and having fun was a great way to kickstart a brilliant season of programming that will be sustained through attendees’ incredible generosity.”
