So i had the amazing opportunity to shoot my first ever Bowl Game in College Football this past week which was the “Celebration Bowl” here’s a few things i took away as a Sports Videographer as a first time shooter👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 • • 1. Don’t be ashamed in Overshooting-> I recorded almost every single play this game and Im glad I did, this is pivotal when you’re making your recaps/edits the worst feeling is when “take a play off” and you miss that one moment, that one touchdown, etc. If you have the storage USE it. • • 2. Follow the Ball!-> This is just ideal for shooting Football, whether you’re working for a Specific team or the Event as a whole (if your credentials allow it) walk that sideline up and down as the drives go along just to help yourself get the best angles for yourself, for Offense be in front of the plays and Defense be behind the plays! • • 3.B-Roll is your B-estfriend-> Making the recap for the game the B-roll really adds the best elements to the overall video, the fans...
