Lookin at you, Costa Rica 🫣 🇨🇷 Don’t get us wrong - we loved our experience this year in CR! BUT, we were sticker shocked by the high fees at every single waterfall entrance. It really adds up 😵‍💫💰. And TBH - we often we found the best CR waterfalls to be crowded after 9am. Enter Ecuador 🇪🇨 — we’ve been SO impressed with the endless waterfalls and affordable experiences. Yesterday we spent an entire day visiting 4 mind-blowing falls + hiking trails, and our entrance fees totaled $6.50 pp. Best part - we enjoyed most of them seemingly to ourselves, and on a holiday! When we did meet fellow waterfall hunters, some were kind locals who so warmly welcomed us to their gorgeous country 🇪🇨 🙏.
