Wohooo! I left the sofa...usually I spend twixtmas glued to the couch and a week later we all emerge like feral cats blinking into the sunlight.... ...but NOT this year! Oh no...this morning we unpeeled ourselves from the sofa and went ice-skating at Somerset House ( one of my favourite places in London). I also discovered a wonderful new spot, Watch House, that takes their hot chocolate so seriously they give you a card telling you where the cacao beans were sourced and tasting notes...Oh and we also admired some gorgeous portraits at the Taylor Wessing prize exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery.
