Something that I have learned more this year than in prior ones is to open myself up. Most of my life, I’ve keep to myself and had a small circle of friends. It took me a long time to show my true self, for the fear of being judged by others. Not really sure why I was that way, and this isn’t a deep dive into my mental health or anything, but that’s just how things were. When I created this account, I never had the intention of making any thing more than just showing my sneakers. As things progressed, many of you started asking how I styled my sneakers. I was hesitant to show myself that way on social media, but I just went for it and haven’t looked back. Doing so has helped me open and feel confident about expressing myself.
