MEET OUR AMAZING NEW HEAD COACH: MATT RIGHTER 🫡 A message from him: I’ve been very fortunate to have a career in this great game of baseball. It all started in the backyard playing catch with my dad where my love of the sport began. Those dreams were realized in 2004 when I was drafted by the Detroit Tigers. I pitched for 5 years reaching AAA and got to meet great people in the sport like Al Kaline, Dave Dombrowski, Roland Hemond and Jim Leyland. I had the privilege of playing for and then coaching with one of the all-time winningest coaches and all time great people at Johns Hopkins University Bob Babb, played and coached in Europe, and then became a head coach at now three, pretty amazing institutions. I’m so excited for this next chapter at Stevenson, and for all the new people I get to meet. Go Stangs!
