Good Afternoon, Friends,
Did you know that if a service dog approaches you alone, it could mean their human needs help? 🐕🦺
A service dog who’s seeking assistance from a stranger may use their nose to nudge your leg, arm, or hand. As tempting as it may be to give a quick scratch behind the ears and be on your way, instead, ask them to take you to their owner or simply follow them.
Situations where a service dog might ask for your help include a fall, a seizure, a diabetic episode, an injury, or other medical emergency. Share this with your Friends so we can all be better informed!
