Good Day, Friends, Tonight at 8:27 pm Mountain time is the Winter Solstice, which officially marks the beginning of winter in Colorado and across North America! Not only does the solstice represent the lowest amount of daylight, but it also represents the moment in time when the Earth’s axis is tilted farthest away from the sun. In Denver, there are nine hours and 21 minutes of sunlight, which is over five hours shorter than Denver’s longest day on the Summer Solstice in June.
