As the year comes to an end, The Michigan Daily photographers reflected on their photos, sifting through shots from football games to speaker events and even hog farming. We asked them to select their favorite and share why they chose it for the year. Photographers talked about the technicalities and aesthetic of the photo, the experiences while on assignment and the personal meanings they found in them. Click the link in our bio to find each of our photographers’ favorite photos of the year, as well as video interviews and write-ups explaining their work. ✍️ & 📸: TMD Photo Staff 🎥: TMD Video Staff ⚙️: Atul Gera
