*This was filmed over two months ago at the Halloween themed game, which is why I’m wearing a Winter Soldier shirt 😅* I now have an additional two months of photographing hockey after recording this video but I still stand by these three tips. I’m a big believer in always being willing to learn and trying new things so that’s why my camera settings advice might contradict itself sometimes. I constantly try new settings and will go back and forth. 🤷‍♀️ It also just depends on my mood and what my task is for that game. For those starting out, don’t get too caught up in what your settings SHOULD be. You can use my settings or find ones on Google but they might not work for you. I would bet that if four photographers covered the same game with the same camera equipment that the settings would be different for all four. Keep experimenting and trying new things!
