Angela Funovits spends her days caring for people as a Dermatologist at Allied Dermatology and Skin Surgery’s Mayfield Heights and Fairlawn offices. She spends her free time entertaining people as a performing magician and mentalist. The Avon Lake native was captivated by a TV magic special when she was 5 years old. “They were doing standard illusions — sawing people in half, rearranging bodies within these contraptions,” she explains. “I just remember thinking to myself at the time, ‘That is actual magic.
