The Athlete Spotlight of the Week, sponsored by Tatnall Black & Gold, is McKenna Slutman. We are proud to recognize her for her outstanding work as cheerleader co-captain. McKenna cheers for her fellow team members as often as she cheers for Tatnall's football players. She creates a climate of trust and value for the cheerleading team by supporting and encouraging her teammates at practices and games, and she extends her support to the cheerleaders of opposing teams by reaching out to them and welcoming them to Tatnall's home field. McKenna leads her fellow athletes by example, regularly modeling core principles of sportsmanship: respect, enthusiasm, confidence, and discipline.
