#BestOfSCORES #2: In May, poet-athletes in the Youth W.O.R.D. Project stepped into the @arenastage spotlight for a series of moving original performances at Our Words Our City. They were also joined on stage by best-selling author and poet @clintsmithiii, who received the inaugural Poet-Athlete Award that evening! “This year’s Our Words Our City felt like magic,” says Zarea Boyde, Program Coordinator for Creative Writing, who leads the Youth W.O.R.D. Project. “To see the kids so excited to showcase the work that we did all season was absolutely heartwarming.”
