Meet 2024 #OpticaAmbassador Ahmet Turnali! Ahmet Turnali currently serves as a technical leader at the Optical Communications Division of Corning Inc., leading technology development projects in optical connectivity. In his first year as an Optica Ambassador, he plans to organize a series of workshops on improving the scientific communication skills of early career researchers and professionals. Ahmet started "light-material interaction" studies when he was four years old... with a magnifying glass and next to a dry pile of leaves! He also enjoys hiking and 3D printing for home improvement projects in his free time.
