Here’s my 2023 year in review. I went back and forth on whether or not I’d post anything but I figured I should post something. I think I shot less than 70 gigs this year which is so weird to me, but I still have a lot of backlog to work on. 2023 had a lot of ups and downs (mostly downs) I’m glad it’s coming to an end, and I’m finishing off the year with a paid gig. Hopefully 2024 treats me better and that entering my 30s isn’t a huge bummer. I’m manifesting a few things for next year, 1. A full time job (I’ve been unemployed since July 2021 and honestly I’m over it. Not having a shred of financial freedom has been stressful and a major bummer) 2. That being said, more *paid* gigs is what I’m trying to accomplish in the new year. I took a huge back seat on shooting this year and I will continue to do so when it comes to unpaid gigs for publications (y’all probably won’t see much of me in 2024) 3.
