Mom asked if I had time for a picture, that it’d mean a lot to her daughter because after seeing me on TV, she knew what she wanted to do with her life … I damn near shed a tear on sight. Growing up in the 90’s, I ddnt see many ppl who looked like, sounded like or dressed like me on television. There were moments where I wondered if this ‘life’, this industry was for me.
