Glimpse of Gaylord _______ Edward L. Gaylord, former editor and publisher of The Oklahoman, looks over Gaylord Hall and all its students. In 2000, Gaylord and his family donated $22 million to the University of Oklahoma to transform the School of Journalism and Mass Communication into our very own Gaylord College. He is the reason for our namesake, and the impact of his generosity is still felt to this day.
