Meet Dean Kelley! He graduated from OU in 1975, back when Gaylord was known as the Herbert School of Mass Communication and before it became a free-standing college in 2000. His favorite Gaylord memory was “being with other like-minded students who were interested in future careers in journalism." Outside of Gaylord, Dean Kelley enjoys watching sports, particularly NBA basketball and college football. Dean Kelley has three pieces of advice for students: work on communication skills especially through writing, be curious about many things and be skeptical but never cynical. Dean Kelley loves to meet students, so make sure to send him an email or stop by the Dean’s Suite!
