Cody Schrader’s historic final season in the black and gold was one for the ages and he is getting the awards to show it. The running back was named the Burlsworth Trophy winner, given annually to the best walk-on in college football. Schrader has run for 1,499 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, leading the Tigers to a 10-2 record and a berth in the Cotton Bowl.
