@redsox were swept by @bluejays with the 5-6 loss in 10 innings. In the season series, the Sox fall to 1-8 against the Jays at Fenway, including some crippling defeats. This time, they failed to score with bases loaded no outs in the bottom of the 9th. The Jays got the scoring going in the 1st with @boflows 2 RBI double. They ultimately came through in the 10th with @cb_2_3 scoring the winning run on the play at the plate. Although a slow and painful game, the silver lining for me was overhearing @d_jansen31 promise a kid during BP that he’d hit him a home run. He delivered on his promise with a go-ahead solo shot into the monster. How can you not be romantic about baseball sometimes?
