Connecting with people, hearing their meaningful stories, and finding inspiration from them. That’s something that’s fundamental to humanity, and in this case makes for a beautiful sneaker. Loving sneakers as much as I do, some call it selfish and vain, and at face value, I can see that. But it’s more than that if you dig a little deeper. We as humans thrive on the inspiration of others. That inspiration provides meaning and motivation to better our lives. In some way, I find that through the stories and experiences I have had with sneakers. I don’t expect everyone to understand that, I know there are some that do, but it’s hard to put into words.
