✅GOOD pre-workout foods (about an hour before):
- fruit + pb
- fruit smoothie
- toast with pb
- hummus with veggies
- yogurt + granola + berries
These are all easy to digest, quick carb sources that will provide energy for your workout without weighing you down.
❌ BAD pre-workout foods:
- High fat content foods (fried food, fatty meats, etc)
- Big salads
- High fiber content foods (beans, lentils, etc)
- Spicy food
These all take a while to digest or are rough on digestion so they should be avoided before a workout!
