Time for the sap. The Songs From The Couch V.2 tour is over. For those of you who don’t know, Emblem3 was the first concert I ever photographed. Before that, I saw them open for another band well over 10 years ago. Back then, I thought they were the coolest guys ever and I wanted to be just like them. Meeting them and getting to photograph them in 2021 was strange. I never photographed a concert, and I never photographed someone I once looked up to. That’s probably why I bombed that show so hard. Anyways… We stayed in touch. I was often with them at their house, playing kickball, photographing their shows or just taking pictures of them for fun. We ended up getting close enough that I started becoming a regular in their circle. They played a show earlier this year in LA, and they floated the idea of me possibly photographing their upcoming tour.
