Today I learned that Muskrats will not only use their tails as rudders to swim, but also as "tailfins" to help them balance when they have their hands full. Found these two lil doods out for a late lunch/early dinner...with some accompanying photos of the hike since it wasn't looking too promising for my first ever "wildlife photo shoot". I'm hooked. This is basically filling out a Pokedex in real life.
