The Cross is contrast: justice and mercy, righteousness & peace, joy & pain. I think we are in danger when we get so caught up in ‘life as a Christian’ that we forget the Cross was for us. “Christ died for the ungodly.” So here are 7 truths to keep in your heart: (each one in the shape of the Cross) 1. “God so loved the world…” applies to you. 2. His Words are more than a sound bite — rather they are a heart-prick. 3. He is the “bright morning star.” 4. He came to preach “deliverance to the captives.” 5.
