So this is so very “of the time,” but I heard about this resturant from a podcast, the @cherrybombemag podcast. Sitting in my kitchen/laundry room/car, I have listened to #CherryBombe’s Editorial Director, @kerrybombe, thoughtfully interview successful people in the food industry about their career, life and, thanks to @libbylark of @memesdiner, identity. In her interview, Libby talks about how Meme’s is an open, accepting and welcoming place for queers to work, eat and just BE! Her openness and badassery broke through my brain, made it into my heart and left me with all sorts of confidence and excitement. As usual, this New York trip was filled with fun, new friends and so much food, but it was also filled with a lot of love for the queerness that is around me and that is me!
