The wintry weather in Portland is getting started. Tuesday temperatures should be in the low 40s during the day and getting down to the mid-30s Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. That's when there will be "a chance low elevation snow in the Portland metro area,” according Andy Bryant, a hydrologist with the National Weather Service in Portland. Precipitation could come down as rain but, Bryant said, there’s a 20 to 30% chance of an inch of snow for Tuesday night through Wednesday morning. If Portland does get snow during that event, Bryant said it would melt during the day. But after that, the temperatures will drop again. “Wednesday night and Thursday it’s cooler but not cold enough to snow,” Bryant said. “But then Friday we have another chance for snow.” Follow the link in our bio to read more. #orwx
